How do I request access to an Authorized Vehicle?

To gain access to a previously activated vehicle, take the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Home screen of FordPass.
2. Tap Activate Vehicle.
   • A pop-up will inform you that the vehicle has already been activated. 
   • If you are supposed to be the only user of this vehicle, tap the Factory Reset button in the pop-up. 
3. Tap Request Authorization on the pop-up.
4. Wait for the vehicle's activated users to approve or deny your request.
   •  All activated users will receive your request in their FordPass Message Center.
   • You will receive a notification in your FordPass Message Center once your request has been approved.
   • You will have the same level of access as all other users once your request is approved.
