What is Diesel Exhaust Fluid and how do I view my levels in FordPass?

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), also known as Adblue^®, is a liquid used to reduce the amount of air pollution created by a diesel engine. You can view your DEF levels on the Service screen of the FordPass app. 

Note: To operate correctly, the Adblue tank of your EcoBlue diesel engine must be filled with Adblue fluid.

Requirements for FordPass 

• You must have a vehicle added to the app.
• Your vehicle must have the FordPass Connect modem.
• The feature is only available on select Diesel vehicles. See the first drop-down option below for more information.  
• Your embedded modem must be activated.
