Press the Phone button.  

Your vehicle should be parked, the engine running and your radio on. 

Scroll and select Phone Settings by pressing OK.

Select Phonebook Preferences.

Select Download now. 

(Your phone may ask to give SYNC™ access to your contacts. Select OK.)

This message appears when downloading is complete. 

Your vehicle should be parked, the engine running and your radio on.

SYNC^TM can hold up to 1,000 phone contacts. If it displays PHNBK FULL, it will have downloaded the first 1,000 contacts in your phone.
