Why are there Kilometres on a New Vehicle?

All vehicles delivered as new will normally have some accumulated mileage. The mileage will vary and factors that could add mileage may include quality checks at the assembly plant, the movement of vehicles during transportation from the assembly plant to the selling dealer, trades between dealers to fulfill a customer request, quality checks at the dealership during pre-delivery, or possibly demonstration drives at the selling dealer by previous customers.
