What is the Ambient Lighting?

Ambient Lighting is a feature fitted to some Ford vehicles, please see your owners manual to determine the interior lighting feature present.

Ford vehicles with SYNC™ 2

  • Settings
  • Vehicle
  • Ambient light

You can then touch the desired colour and use the scroll bar to increase or decrease the intensity.

To switch the feature on or off, press the power button

Ford vehicles with SYNC™ 3

  1.  Touch the Settings icon in the Feature bar at the bottom of your touchscreen.
  2. Touch the Ambient Lighting icon. (You may have to swipe to the next screen.)
  3. Tap desired color.
  4. Select preferred intensity.

Switching Ambient Lighting On and Off

  1. From the settings menu, press General.   
  2. Press Ambient Lighting.
  3. Switch Ambient Lighting on or off.
