What is the 360 degree camera?
Learn how the 360-degree camera system provides comprehensive visibility around your Ford vehicle, simplifying parking and detecting obstacles for increased safety.
The 360-degree camera system is designed to assist you during parking maneuvers by providing a comprehensive view of the area surrounding your vehicle. This is particularly helpful for tasks such as centering your vehicle in a parking space, identifying obstacles near your vehicle, and facilitating parallel parking.
This system utilizes a combination of cameras located at the front, sides, and rear of your vehicle to create a composite view.
To activate the 360-degree camera, you can press the dedicated camera button located on the touchscreen. When you select Reverse (R), the rear view camera automatically engages, and additional views may become accessible on the touchscreen. If your vehicle is in Park (P), Neutral (N), or Drive (D), pressing the button will display the front camera view. Please note that the system is designed to turn off automatically when your vehicle reaches a low speed, except when it is in Reverse.
Certain vehicles may be equipped with additional camera views to further enhance visibility. The Trailer Side View can be activated using the turn signal when a trailer is attached, providing a clearer perspective for lane changes and turns. The Automatic Rear Split View may engage automatically in Reverse if the cross-traffic alert system is active. You can typically manage the settings for these additional views within the driver assistance menu on the touchscreen.
Please be aware that camera availability may vary depending on your specific vehicle model and trim level. For detailed information and specific instructions tailored to your vehicle, we recommend consulting your Owner's Manual.
