BANGKOK, Thailand, 2 August 2021 - Ford Thailand today introduced a new bold and athletic color choice of Carbonized Grey to the legendary Ford Mustang. The world’s best-selling sport car is available in two engine variants: the 5.0L V8 GT Coupe Performance Pack and 2.3L EcoBoost Coupe Performance Pack.
The popular Ford Mustang features a powerful engine, high-speed performance, advanced driver-assistance technologies and more customization options tailored to customers. Athletic style
Both Mustang variants are equipped with the Performance Pack that includes limited-slip differential, to match the Mustang’s fun-to-drive character, even driving on curves. Mustang’s dramatic rear-end design is further enhanced with a re-modelled bumper and diffuser element, accommodating standard quad-tailpipes for the 5.0L V8 model. In addition, a spoiler is standard for GT models.
Mustang’s daytime running lights, indicators and iconic three-dimensional tri-bar tail lights all feature LED technology as standard. The front headlight bezels also have been restyled to reflect the trapezoidal shape of the upper grille.
Unmatched performance
Mustang’s 5.0L V8 engine has been developed to deliver great power and a high rev-limit. Peak power of 449 PS at 7,000 RPM and 529 Nm of torque at 4,600 RPM is supported by the introduction of Ford’s dual-fuel, high-pressure direct injection and low-pressure port fuel injection system. For a more fuel-efficient option, the 2.3L EcoBoost engine delivers peak power of 290 PS at 5,400 RPM and 441 Nm of torque at 3,000 RPM.
Electronic Line Lock that helps the driver to spin the rear wheels and warm the tyres while stationary for drag strip, is a standard offer on both 2.3L and 5.0L V8 GT Coupe variants.
Ford Mustang offers six driving modes to help drivers match electronic stability control, throttle response, automatic gear-shift patterns, steering and Active Valve Performance Exhaust settings to the driving scenario.
- Normal Mode provides perfect balance between comfortability and response to deliver the most engaging driving experience yet.
- Sports Mode improves throttle response and steering system while shifting up to a higher gear which enables drivers to experience driving on curves at full performance.
